Streetwear is a style of casual clothing. Casual, comfortable pieces such as jeans, t-shirts, hoodies and other loose comfortable fitting pieces. Streetwear has become so popular that it is now on the runway! It is not just for skaters, surfers, hip hoppers and punks anymore. The new hybrid is called Athleisure. Where sportswear meets streetwear.

In this 3 week class we will sew up the classic zip up hoodie and joggers. 

 All patterns, fabrics, and supplies are included. Just show up and sew! 

Day - Wednesday 6-9pm

Dates - January 15th, 22nd, 29th

You will get your own paper sewing patterns to cut out in your size. You get to keep them so you can make more at home or in open studio classes. We have pattern sizes XS- 6X. Then we'll go over the sewing steps and techniques to create each garment. Each one of these garments takes about a class and a half. That is why we are making two garments in the 3 week class.

Joggers

We will cover all of the details like rib knit cuffs, pockets & elastic/drawstring waistbands.

Hoodie

Design your own hoodie with extra style lines and details. We will add a separating zipper, pockets, a hood, knit cuffs & a rib knit waist.

Pre-requisite: Sewing 101 or equivalent sewing skills

Our classes are limited in size (and frequently sell out!). Each person has a station with a sewing machine reserved for them, so no refunds are offered on classes. If you miss a class, video tutorials will be provided that you can work through in your own time. If you know you'll be missing a class in advance, contact us and we'll see if there's a seat available in a nearby session you could attend.
